About Genovesa
Prince Philip's Steps, a stair cut into a cliff face, Darwin Bay inside a flooded caldera, and all three booby species of the archipelago in a single morning: Genovesa is the birding island, and it sits alone in the far north. Red-footed boobies nest in the mangroves, Nazca boobies along the rim, and short-eared owls hunt storm petrels in daylight on the open lava.
