About North Seymour
Male frigatebirds inflating a scarlet throat pouch the size of a football, blue-footed boobies whistling through a courtship dance on the path itself, land iguanas descended from animals carried over from Baltra in the 1930s: North Seymour is flat, low and roughly two kilometres across, and the trail is a loop of about that length. It is the most reliable nesting site in the archipelago for both frigatebird species. Forty-two of our itineraries call here across 14 ships, from $1,797 per person, on trips of 3 to 14 nights.
One visitor site, and it is often the first or last landing of a trip because Baltra airport lies twenty minutes away. That makes North Seymour common on short departures, and it also means the island is usually a morning rather than a day.
