About Daphne Major
A tuff cone standing alone in the channel north of Santa Cruz, a crater floor where Peter and Rosemary Grant measured finch beaks every year from 1973 onwards, and the clearest evidence of evolution ever recorded in the wild: Daphne Major is about a hundred and twenty metres high and carries no fresh water.
